WHITE BEAN HUMMUS
This recipe is simple and quick. I love using white beans for a different flavor and texture than Garbanzo Beans. I started making this recipe a few years ago when I realized that you could substitute beans for flour and realized, I really like White Kidney or even Cannellini Beans more than most other kinds of beans.
- 16 oz. White Beans (save the juice to the size)
- ½ C. Tahini
- ¼ C. Olive Oil
- 3 Diced Garlic Cloves
- 2 Tsp. Sea Salt
- 1 Lemon (for the Juice)
- 5 Basil Leaves (optional)
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend together
- Top with some lemon juice and a pinch of salt
