About Lindsey Wright

I'm a Midwestern girl living in Los Angeles. I have a bachelor's in music performance, a master's in theology, a new husband, and an overwhelming desire to get a dachshund. I love cooking, eating, reading, singing, making garlands for every occasion, and hot drinks. I have an undying adoration for cardigans, the color grey, tacos, whiskey, Cheetos, and compulsive book buying. All of that to say, I'm an INFP.

One of the things that people are really starting to take notice of these past few years, is the sustainability of food, and how we can be socially responsible with how we eat. With documentaries like Food, Inc. and Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, and authors like Michael Pollan, people have begun to see what really happens to our food before we [...]

*The following blog post is from Lindsey Wright of Dear Wilderness: Exploring Beauty, Wellness, and Balance. Follow her blog here. Like many people, Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday. Even in sunny California, I make a concerted effort to have everything feel as cozy as possible. We get cinnamon candles going, we have holiday music playing, we string garland and lights, and best of all, we cook. The food we make in the month of December is just as much a part [...]

*The following blog post is from Lindsey Wright of Dear Wilderness: Exploring Beauty, Wellness, and Balance. Follow her blog here. Food and family. The two are more intrinsically linked than we may think. You grow up watching your mom make a secret family recipe. A certain crazy pizza topping makes you think of your equally crazy dad. You used to make fun of him for that topping, but now you secretly kind of love it, because it links you to him [...]
